About NIDO South Korea

A home away from home

The recognised umbrella body uniting and supporting Nigerians living across the Republic of Korea.

Who we are

Built by Nigerians, for Nigerians in Korea

Who we are

Nigeria in Diaspora Organization South Korea (NIDO SK) is a recognised platform and umbrella organisation representing Nigerians living in the Republic of Korea. It was established to promote unity, welfare, networking, cultural identity, professional collaboration, and constructive engagement between the Nigerian community in South Korea, the Nigerian Government, and Korean institutions.

As a diaspora-based community organisation, NIDO SK serves as a bridge between Nigerians in South Korea and Nigeria — providing a structured platform for engagement, advocacy, community development, investment promotion, skills exchange, and the advancement of Nigeria–Korea relations.

Our mandate

NIDO SK exists so that every Nigerian in Korea has a community to belong to, a voice that is heard, and support to lean on. From the newest arrival stepping off the plane to the longest-settled resident, our doors are open.

We bring our people together across every city in Korea, celebrate and preserve our culture, stand by members in times of need, and represent the Nigerian community with dignity to institutions in both Korea and Nigeria.
